Gym Equipment Repairs South East of England

FAQ’s

Do you repair domestic equipment?

Yes we do. We do however like to ascertain if we can get a parts prior to attending a repair by checking parts availability with manufacturers and distributors as we feel if we cannot get parts and they are required then it’s not fair to charge an initial callout.

Do we supply/sell equipment?

Yes we do. We can supply new products from most of the major manufacturers for both commercial and domestic use as well as a plentiful supply of commercial refurbished equipment.

How often should you have your equipment serviced?

We always recommend all equipment is serviced, at least, annually. However if you are a busy gym then you may wish to consider more than one service a year. We offer contracts with 1, 2, 3 or 4 services a year but can cater for any requirement. Please contact us for more details.

How often should I lubricate my treadmill?

This is the million dollar question. This depends on treadmill type, lubrication type, usage, wear and environmental issues. Always refer to the manufacturer guidelines and please contact us or speak to our engineers on site for more information.

How much lubrication should I use?

Again this is one of the hardest to answer. As a guide we would say little and often but it depends on treadmill type, lubrication type, usage, wear and environmental issues. Always refer to the manufacturer guidelines and please contact us or speak to our engineers on site for more information.

How can we reduce our callout costs?

Our initial callout includes an hours labour so where we can we will always try to repair or service your machine within that hour and our aim is to fix on as few visits as possible. If we can solve on callout, we always do. If, however, it takes that visit to diagnose the required parts then we would consider this a justifiable visit as trying to diagnose issues via video or over the phone or email can result in incorrect parts and incur additional shipping costs if parts require return to suppliers, etc. We find if we visit it solves issues a lot quicker and in the long run shortens the machine downtime as much as possible.

Is my machine worth repairing/worth anything for spares?

This is very much dependant on equipment condition, age and manufacturer. Domestic treadmills are, usually, beyond economical repair unless parts are available for them. They carry no second hand value once they stop working. We can help with removal from properties but this will carry a cost. Good commercial brands do carry some value in parts but this will depend on condition and age. We are more than happy to offer advice and discuss equipment with you please contact us for more details.
